Biographical Sketch CURRENT ADDRESS: PERSONAL INFORMATION: EDUCATION: Youth Evangelist; Evangelism For Christ, Brandon, Florida; 1979-1981. In two years of Youth Evangelism Rick held over 75 Revivals and Crusades in local churches. His ministry reached out of this country to preach Crusades in Haiti and the Philippines. During this period of time 450 were saved in local churches, with over 400 or more saved in the Philippines and 230 in Haiti coming to know Jesus Christ. Pastor; First Baptist Church of Valrico, Valrico, Florida; 1981-1982. While serving as Pastor, Sunday School attendance climbed from a low of 195 to a high of 404 in a one year period of time. Our church led the Shiloh Baptist Association in total additions in 1980-1981 and 1981-1982 church years. Pastor; Springhill Baptist Church; Fernandina Beach, Florida; 1982-1988. While serving as Pastor, Sunday School went from a low of 336 to a high of 622. The church saw 600 baptisms in six years. During the church year 1984-1985 there were 165 baptisms, which ranked Springhill in the top 25 evangelistic churches in the state of Florida. Fulltime Vocational Evangelist; Rick Coram Ministries, Inc.; 1988-until present. In the past 23 years the Ministry has averaged 45 Revival/ Crusade meetings a year. The ministry holds two conferences during the summer months. PowerLife Student Camp was started in 1989 with 125 and has grown to two weeks since 1996 with over 1,200 attending yearly. Lives have been changed and souls saved each year. PowerLife Adult Bible Conference started in 1989 with 65 and has grown to over 450 in attendance each year.
PERSONAL / DOCTRINAL STATEMENT:
I believe that the Bible is the Inspired, Inerrant, and Infallible Word of God. It is the preaching of this book that the Holy Spirit convicts men of sin and draws men to Jesus Christ. I firmly believe that revival of the local church is still the answer if America is going to return to her spiritual roots. The local church is New Testament in origin and has been used by God in every generation as the force and flame of the community in which it meets. I also believe in New Testament Evangelism. As a Youth Evangelist in 1979-1981, I realized a great burden to learn more about the Pastor's heart. God has given me eight wonderful years of preparation as the Pastor of a local church. Now I feel that God wants to strengthen His ministry and reach lost people for our wonderful Lord.
